This course is for High School Students in Grade 10 - Grade 12 who have an aptitude for solving problems and who want to be a Data Scientist when they grow up. The course is based in Woodstock Cape Town for 2 hours every Saturday for 5 weeks
Learn the basics of computer programming in Python. Learn about loops, conditionals, booleans and functions! Leave the course with the skills you need to start your lifelong coding journey which will be critical for any Data Scientist
Learn about strings, lists, arrays and data frames so that you are able to work with and manipulate data
We will teach you how to build world class dashboards so that you can quickly present insights like a pro
You will have on-site experts to help you get up to speed with the basics of Data Science
We will teach you real world skills that you can apply immediately to solve problems
Every Saturday you will come to our Saturday School to engage with our lecturers and learn about Data Science

It will form the basis of your application and will determine whether you will make it as part of the 2019 intake.
